Volyn region of north-western Ukraine 3 people killed
In the Volyn region of north-western Ukraine, Three people have been killed by Russian missile attacks local officials have said.
Regional head yuriy poguliaiko said that in lutsk several were wounded after a factory was hit.
In the western lviv region Air strikes also damaged buildings , but there were no deaths, the city's mayor said.
They had destroyed sixteen(16) out of at least twenty eight(28) missiles launched by Russia overnight.said by ukrine defence forces.
In lviv and volyn Air raid sirens sounded for two(2) hours.
In Lutsk - Volyn region's capital - a factory owned by a Swedish company was hit by the strikes.
Skf company spokesman carl bjernstam said that"We are very sad to confirm that three(3) of our colleagues have been killed,".
In the city homes appeared to have been hit with local officials saying most of the damage was caused by falling debris from intercepted missiles.
In Lviv more than hundred(100) buildings were damaged as a result of the overnight attacks, according to the city's Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.
