Dominican Republic blast kills at least 11
On monday In the Dominican republic at least eleven(11) people have died in an explosion which rocked the small town of San Cristóbal.
They have identified the remains of ten(10) adults and a four-month-old baby, but warned "there are more corpses" likely to be found officals said that.
In the town commerical area it is not yet known what reason the blast .
Smoke from the explosion and the fires it ignited could be seen wafting or drift over the town for many hours afterwards.
On tuesday President Luis Abinader said who visted the site od the explosion Ten(10) people are still missing. "We are doing all that is humanly possible to locate them,".
Many remain In hospital and dozen people were injured
Hundreds (100)of firefighters are still trying to extinguish the flames in four(4) of the nine(9) buildings which caught fire.
On monday afternoon on the South Western outskirts of the capital Santo Domingo The explosion ripped or force through the town.
Its exact source has not yet been pinpointed or identify. Among the buildings destroyed are a veterinary clinic and plastics factory and hardware shop.
